While another friend of mine on an AMD setup also had a relatively bug-free experience but had some rare game crashes due to drivers which were fixed by rolling back or waiting for hotfix.Ĭall it intuition or whatever, but its a fact NVIDIA puts far more money and effort into their GPUs than AMD ever did. Personally I've NEVER had a problem with NVIDIA drivers except in Uncharted 4 Lost Legacy where the game crashes on GTX 10 series cards when Hardware Accelerated GPU Scheduling is turned on in Windows settings, but that's more of a game optimization issue since I've had it on since forever and no other game crashed because of it. And DLSS image quality compared to FSR is a no-brainer NV RT is simply better and even AMD themselves don't compare their best product 7k XTX to the 4090.

Same goes for ShadowPlay, its just > AMD ReLive.ĪMD are still a generation behind when it comes to RT and DLSS/FSR. Like I said, RTX Audio has helped me massively so idc what others think of it. But reality begs to differ.įor the "other software stuff" whether you use it or not, as a bonus feature NVIDIA's offering works far better. If AMD does come close or equal its not my or your loss, its a win for both of us as consumers. I'd like to be PROVEN wrong rather than maybe's and hopefully's. NVidia just makes better cards, and everything about their software is much more convenient, because really.they're the only company that only makes gpus, its hard to justify gpus on amd's side because their cpu division is so much more profitable and has great reputation, intel has just started with gpus, i like Alchemist but they're not a real competitor if you lose backwards compatibility ON PC. nvidia is basically FaZe and AMD is basically MM mge.

When you create custom resolutions on nVidia you can test them so you dont run into a black screen if you go past spec, on AMD you still cant and games sometimes dont recognize them so you'll have to use Custom Resolution Utility. ReLive is garbage compared to shadowplay, and also the option to livestream on twitch just hitting two keys from shadowplay.big win. There are things, little and big, that nvidia does that amd doesnt, little details.Įxample: GTA 4 doesnt have AntiAliasing, so you're usually gonna force it through the control panel of your gpu, if you force FXAA through the nvidia control panel, it's perfectly applied, if you force FXAA through AMD's control, it completly destroys the game, i saw it with my own eyes, AMD can't do it on older apis. NVidia is the only gpu company if im being honest.
